I'm a weeee bit nervous about posting this, because I've *never* posted an "eye of the day" or whatever the hip, savvy makeup term is, but I have enough makeup and I do enough looks that I might as well post here and get some criticism :P
I use ALL types of makeup, high-end to low-end, because so many looks can be recreated with cheaper brands, but you do have a lot more color variation with, say, MAC.
So here it is, I'll write up what I used on my eyes as well, and I know that my bangs look wonky and uneven, and I'm not including a normal full-on face picture because I'm having an incredibly self conscious day and decided I looked too weird :P
Unfortunately, I was "inspired" by the new MAC Hello Kitty line that's coming out soon, but it was an absentminded type of inspiration. And thus, a white, pink & black combo.
Eyes:
MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
NYX Shadow in "White"
Coastal Scents 88 Color Matte Palette pink (row 2 down 7 across) & black (7x11)
NYC Liquid Eyeliner in Jet Black
Imju Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara in Black
Brows:
NYC Browser Brush-on Brow Kit in "Brunette"
Cheeks:
Quo Cream Blusher in Ibiza
Lips:
MAC Lipglass Viva Glam VI
aerie kiss breath balm
Face:
L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup (concealer), N1, soft ivory
Quo Wt & Dry Powder Foundation in Soft Linen
Constructive criticism welcomed, but pleeeeease be semi-nice! Some CC is just harsh, and I'm not thick-skinned enough yet :P
I know I've seen better, and you all have as well, but I'm working with what I currently have (although I've ordered a few things in the last few days *sigh*)

I mean, in a total it looks simply great!
The white eyeshadow does look a lot better than the cheap one I use and the pink blends in perfectly.

Really, I've heard of it before and then thought it might be one of the more expensive brands since it's not in the drugstore I usually visit.
But $5 is okay for really good eyeshadow.
When I found out the cheap 2€ nailpolish is better and lasts longer than the 6€ brand nailpolish and the 1.50€ mascara better than the one for 8€, I got a bit put off from further experimenting. But what you used there actually does look better.

My eyeliner has taken years of practice, haha.
And oh, I have the shakiest hands ever, and I constantly twitch my eyelids when I apply it, so I always have to hold my breath and hope I don't need to wipe it all off and redo it *sigh*
